A VERY WARM WELCOME TO ALL OXFORD BROOKES LAW STUDENTS NEW AND OLD!!
I trust you are all settling-in (or back in) to the Brookes University lifestyle, that you have all at least once been on a night out on Cowley Road, have made full use of Subway at Morals and most importantly of all that you are enjoying your course. However if you have got any problems or would like to speak to someone at the University please email rdrake@brookes.ac.uk Robert Drake who is the Student Support Coordinator for Social Sciences and Law, alternatively you can go and see him in the law office at Headington Hill Hall from 12-1pm on a Thursday.
Also feel free to email Roland and Naomi, our student representatives.

Getting involved with the KDU Buddy Programme - 2nd Year Students only
Oxford Brookes have a partnership with a College in Malaysia, KDU, whereby Malaysian students study for the first two years of their degree at a college in Kuala Lumpur and then transfer to Brookes for the final year of their degree. With a view to easing their transition from Malaysia to the UK we would like to set up a 'buddy' programme whereby 2nd year students at KDU could correspond with 2nd year Brookes students and find out a little about what student life is like here at Brookes. It may be you would also be interested in finding out what life is like as a law student in Kuala Lumpur. If you are interested in participating in the 'buddy programme' please email second year representative; lwillemsen@brookes.co.uk and she can provide you with further information and put you in contact with the relevant staff.
